This time next week, I shall be winging my way to Atlanta to see my second-ever Elbow gig, and I am stoked! To get ready for the trip, I’m going to add a post each day this week and list the Exciting Elbow Thought of the Day!

TODAY’S EXCITING ELBOW THOUGHT IS…

Unlike my journey to see Elbow live in Chicago last year, I will not be going solo this time. I turned a couple I know on to TSSK, and then the Elbow back catalog, earlier this year. So they are both coming along on the trip to Atlanta! I had a blast last year on my own, but I am sure glad to have company this time around. My girlfriend has fallen head over heels in love with Guy, and her husband, who is a musician, has fallen in love with the whole band (but for different reasons, obviously….) The two of them really are excited to be seeing Elbow for the first time and I’m so happy to be joining them for this momentous occasion! Just think – in one short year, I’ve managed to single-handedly triple the Elbow fan base in the West Palm Beach, Florida area! I should get a medal, no?
